Frequently Asked Questions

F

Will I have my own workstation, or will I be sharing?

Each guest will have their own personal workstation so that you can get hands-on with each recipe, getting the very most out of your time with us. The workstations are grouped into threes so whilst you will be working individually, it’s a very sociable experience! We pair up at the stations for larger groups.

A perfectly cooked steak sits on a black stone plate, exuding a savory aroma, accompanied by a plate of fresh green salad studded with red cherry tomatoes and a side of roasted golden potatoes.

What happens to the food I cook?

It’s all yours! Several of the classes are designed to allow guests to enjoy some of the delicious dishes they’ve created in the morning, for lunch, or in the afternoon or evening dinner. Everything else is yours to take away and impress friends and family.

Will there be cookery demonstrations during the practical classes?

Yes, we intersperse cookery demonstrations with hands-on cooking so that you can see and taste as many delicious dishes as possible, picking up on all the skills, hints, and tips that you will need to recreate the recipes at home.

I have an allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirements. Will you be able to accommodate it?

For almost all classes, we will be able to adjust dishes to accommodate dietary requirements. Please let our office team know before you book or provide full details on your online booking so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. There are very few classes that cannot be successfully adapted to accommodate a certain dietary requirement, this information is displayed on each class page description. If this is the case, we will be more than happy to recommend an alternative class to suit your needs.

What should I wear?

Ideally, comfortable flat shoes with a closed toe and for clothing we recommend trousers. We advise that you bring a long-sleeved top that you can put on if needed, for example, to protect your arms when using a frying pan at high temperatures.

Can we only book on to the advertised courses or can we make our own booking on a different date?

We are more than happy to create a bespoke course to fit your culinary desires, or you can use one of our existing courses for your own corporate or private cooking experience for a variety of private functions including birthdays, product launches, and team-building activities. We can host up to 24 people cooking in pairs or 12 individual cooks.
